We are Truepill, an exciting scale-up health tech business, we’re building a pharmacy and healthcare infrastructure for the world, providing pharmacy fulfilment through an easy to use API integrated with our fulfilment centre.
We are just getting started scaling up our engineering team in the UK. Working as part of a global team with opportunities to collaborate with our engineering team in San Francisco we are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our development team here in Manchester.
The diversity of projects we take on is what makes us unique. Node.js / React stack for our new customer facing dashboard and API. Integrating Zebra printers into operations. Manage a fleet of headless raspberry pi’s. Building a consumer checkout experience / flow.
This is a chance to join a very early stage engineering team where we have already demonstrated product-market fit and traction with our current growth.
By joining as an early member of the engineering team you will have access to many growth opportunities including leading, product involvement and decision making, and overall engineering culture of our company.
Working proactively with our developers you will bridge the gap between them and Truepills infrastructure and support them to build and release their products/projects in an efficiently and constantly improving process.
Support the automation of processes as much as possible to allow scalability and support growth
Collaborate with a range of stakeholders and colleagues throughout the project development lifecycle
Troubleshoot and solve infrastructure issues to deliver effective technology solutions
Attend project / tech updates and stand-ups providing accurate updates where appropriate highlight any infrastructure risks/bottlenecks/successes
Ensue alignment with business priorities and that all infrastructure solutions support software development as much as possible to enable our developers to deliver on schedule, within budget and with highly effective code across our portfolio
ABOUT YOU / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
You will be an experienced DevOps Engineer who is comfortable with modern DevOps practices within an agile environment. Naturally you will be well versed in cloud platforms, specifically AWS (amazon web services) AWS Cloud Watch (AWS certification desirable).
Experience of Jenkins, Terraform, CircleCI, Elastic Stack (ElasticSearch, Kibana and Logstash), Docker and Kubernetes required.
