Reducer is a rapidly growing London based startup helping accountants to find savings for their clients.
Businesses have purchasing requirements that are too complex for traditional price comparison approaches to work. By connecting into a business’ accounts Reducer is able to identify customised deals in just a couple of clicks. We then talk them through the savings and help them make any they’d like to take.
Our customers love our service and we are growing fast.
We’ve just raised our second round of funding and we are heading into a phase of rapid expansion.
The team and environment
Our success is entirely owned by our team, who are all self-starters that enjoy working together to hit our ambitious targets. The office is relaxed and informal, we often play music, eat lunch as a team and share a game of darts (not all at the same time).
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for converting deals offered to our business customers. This will include energy, telecoms and payment processing contracts.
The role will involve telesales, client consultations and face-to-face meetings. You may also be required to support the accountant sales team by booking appointments with prospective accountant partners. You will be responsible for hitting your own target as well as contributing to the company target.

You will meet all of our key requirements including:
- Excellent phone manner
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to learn/pick things up quickly
- Native Speaker level English Language skills
- Demonstrated interest or passion for sales.
Most of your interactions with clients will be over the phone, so having a good phone manner is key. You will also be required to learn about a number of different utility sectors from energy to telecoms.

There will be times you may be required to support the accountant sales team by booking appointments for them. This will involve making cold calls and prospecting accountants.
