We work with influencer marketing teams to design and run survey-led studies that help them understand and elevate the impact of their influencer marketing campaigns. This takes the form of two core services: brand lift studies and influencer-led research.

Influencer marketing is a young, and fast-growing industry; it surpassed the market size of a $1bn in 2016, is on track to hit $21bn in 2023 and is projected to be over $100bn by 2030. Being the market leader in the industries biggest pain point – measurement – it comes as no surprise that ThisThat has grown its revenues 10 fold 2 years in a row and sees no signs of stopping; it’s just the beginning and it’s very exciting!

About you
We are looking for a senior full-stack developer with experience taking ownership of code across the stack, database architecture, and scalability. You should have a good eye for UI design. You will need to be proactive, keen to learn and apply your existing knowledge, and hard-working. You will need to thrive in the startup environment where you have significant responsibility. You should be a super-star – someone who can learn quickly, take ownership, and is excited by responsibility and rapid innovation. We’re looking for people who are excited about the potential of influencer marketing and how technology can be used to drive increased growth and outcomes from campaigns. Bonus points if you have experience in the industry already!
Your skills and experience
You must have strong experience with Typescript.
You should have experience with Node.JS, NestJS, and building scalable backend systems. You should have experience with Angular and CSS. You should also have experience building and maintaining a complex SaaS platform.
Ideally, you would have experience with Postgres functions and triggers, building and designing highly scalable database architectures, and managing servers through AWS/Azure/Google Cloud (Google Cloud preferable). As a bonus, you will also have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD in GitHub, GCP BigTable, TypeORM, Firebase, payments management, and ACL-based permissions.
Please be aware that we do not expect an applicant to have experience in everything above – please apply if you feel you would do great work in this role.
Role
You will be active in continuous rebuilds for scale and our ongoing and future projects including API/SDK development, contracts/payments, automated insights and accounts for influencers and talent managers.

This role is open to remote; however we may require occasional (at a minimum once a quarter) travel to an office or event in London, UK. We do have an office in Soho Works Shoreditch, where we will encourage you to come and collaborate with colleagues across departments as well as with clients of ours on a bi-weekly basis. We are able to sponsor UK visas should that be necessary.
