Business Development Manager

Intro:

Our team is searching for a Business Development Manager to join our team. The holder of this position will be responsible for expanding our business in the UK in the immediate term.

Organisations like Tesco and Virgin Money have used our internal communications platform to build a more people-centred approach. Our approach means that customers have achieved up to 6x better engagement, 32x the impact and 100% reach.

The role:

You will develop a strategic plan for sales and have a voice in the wider business. You’ll drive B2B business development, owning our sales approach and outcomes.

You will research and reach out to prospects that would most benefit from our platform. You’ll ask the right questions to get to the bottom of how our platform would work for them. You will guide and execute the thinking behind prospective opportunities. All throughout you’ll keep the lead status and notes up-to-date on our CRM.

You’ll know the target market in and out to ensure that our business development approach aligns with buyer needs. You will collaborate with the wider team to continue to ensure that our process is as effective and efficient as possible. You’ll provide a brilliant and professional experience for prospects at the early stages of the sales process.

There is a commission scheme in place for this role.

You:

Able to build a B2B pipeline out from the ground up
Stakeholder rapport building
Data-crunching and organisation
Questioning and probing during prospect interactions
Knowledge

Familiar with the needs of HR/Internal Comms/Change Management prospects

Attitude

Desire to learn: There is always a better way. We know that and you should too. You should be ok both getting and giving honest feedback.
Methodical: We are always refining our processes and working on how to reach our customers more effectively. To figure out what methods are working and which aren’t, you’ll need to keep meticulous data, identify trends, and suggest potential ‘tests’ to run. Data-driven.
A self-starter: As cliche as it is, you’ll need to take initiative and maintain motivation under pressure.
Curious: You’re not afraid of asking questions and getting to the bottom of things.
About the culture:

We genuinely enjoy working together and want to bring someone on board that will continue to add to that dynamic. We tend to work 2 days a week out of an office near Marble Arch/Bond Street/Edgeware Road/Baker Street.
