Job description – August 2023

This role is for you if you want to make your mark within a successful cyber security scale up that’s disrupting the industry for the better. We’re looking for a fantastically talented B2B marketing manager who has a true passion for driving real growth which meaningfully impacts the bottom line. If you are commercially driven, and innovative, with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and you’re ready to match an ambitious, excellence-focused, and friendly team, read on!

Secure Impact is a rising star in the high growth, recession-resistant cyber security industry. Founded by renowned cyber security leader James Lyne, we’re an ambitious young company, rapidly scaling since launching two years ago and attracting an impressive list of clients and channel partnerships.  Such clients include nation state governments, the global leaders in insurance and cyber security training, one of the UK’s biggest VARs, and a host of others. We’ve grown a highly skilled team, with market-leading technical expertise, coupled with an innovative approach to delivering true value to the market. Our mission is to set a new industry standard in the delivery of cyber security services.

What the job involves
We are looking for a B2B marketing manager to head up the SI marketing function, leading our growth initiatives for clients and channel partnerships, and owning events, communications and thought leadership. This is not a new position and you will be capitalising on the excellent work and foundations created in marketing over the last two years.

Reporting to the General Manager (GM), you’ll be the marketing lead for the business and will work closely with leadership, technical and sales teams, clients, and channel partners, to plan and strategise, and execute engaging marketing campaigns that drive demand for our services. This role is your opportunity to join a team of world class individuals who are passionate and friendly, and to shape one of the most promising brands in cyber security that is disrupting the cyber security market.

You may be able to tell that we expect great things from this person, but you’ll be surrounded by highly talented folk who will be pulling in the same direction. You will be the sole individual in marketing and will be managing specific external contractors and the marketing budget. That means this is a very hands-on role that requires excellent project management skills, resourcefulness, proven experience in driving demand, a brilliant attitude, and confidence in presenting to a variety of different stakeholders.

Please note this is a remote-first role, although we do encourage team meet ups and organise quarterly socials.
