ABOUT YOU: You will need to be fired up with enthusiasm for database development. This role is hands on and will involve primarily Oracle development skills within Oracle APEX and PL/SQL, however you will need to be able to program in any modern language and experience of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is highly desirable. There may be opportunities to develop using other technologies such as Python/Django and AWS services, so a passion for learning different technologies is a must.
As senior developer you will need to design, develop, test, analyse, and maintain the QV Systems products in support of the business function, ensuring that the needs of the users and business are met whilst adhering to any SLAs that are in place. You will need to be flexible and work with all areas of the business performing various tasks; we’re a start-up so everyone is expected to muck in.

Essential:
- At least 5 years commercial experience of Oracle.
- Very strong PL/SQL programming skills.
- Ideally experience with Oracle APEX, alternatively knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience in software development.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies.

- Experience in financial services is desirable ideally within asset or automotive finance.
