This opportunity is for talented and enthusiastic graduates or juniors to join the team for a product and marketing launch this spring to build the miPic brand in the UK and scale the platform worldwide.

miPic is a new photo marketplace and app that empowers creativity. Think ‘Instagram meets Etsy’
Users can ‘Become the Artist or Photographer’ and turn their passion for imagery into awesome art & fashion print products earning money for free. miPic users can share and sell their pictures or create their own custom products via the iPhone app or Desktop / Mobile website.

● Won Virgin’s Voom ‘Pitch to Rich’ competition pitching to Sir Richard Branson & Nick Jenkins (Moonpig), Jack Wills and NotOnTheHighStreet Founders

YOUR JOB
Social Media Intern – based at our Brick Lane, Shoreditch office.
Responsibilities
● You will be part of a Marketing team that will provide outreach and comms across all email, social and offline channels
● Social Media: Assist with strategy of our Facebook, Twitter Pinterest & Instagram accounts.
● Email Marketing: Planning and executing weekly campaigns
● You will be tasked to help grow the user base and content, building influencers partnerships and introducing the general public to miPic to build the brand
● Blogging & Content: Writing engaging content for our blog to be promoted across the web
● Assisting with press releases, brochures etc
● Pop up Events: Helping to organise fun, engaging miPic popups, art galleries, fashion shoots etc
Skills and Experience
● Experience of Social Media planning, scheduling via Hootsuite / Buffer etc
● Good knowledge of Photoshop, photo editing software for asset creation
● Have good writing skills – English as first language
● A keen eye for photography and art to understand our user base
● You must be a pro-active do’er – This is no corporate job with corners to hide in, you must be a hustler and a hacker who thinks outside the box and can see ideas through to completion
● You must be able to present your ideas and communicate concisely before you drop the Mic (In other words, present like a rockstar)
● Have a huge appetite to grow into this role and create amazing opportunities to further your career
● Ability to work alone but most importantly as part of a team
