Senior Finance Manager

Job Purpose:

Contribute financial insight and expertise and drive performance of the business, creating sustainable growth in the value of Liforme.

Protect the vital assets of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Establish and provide an efficient and effective finance function providing financial insight and support to the business.

Key Accountabilities:

Contribute to the development and alignment of the commercial and operational strategies.

Deliver all necessary financial, treasury and tax planning, reporting, analysis and forecasting.

Forecast free cash flow and guide the business to maintain target cash reserves.

Provide ROI and ROCE insights to inform the prioritisation of resources across the business to maximise results.

Support definition of all financial KPI’s and metrics across the company, with external benchmarking, to track performance against the strategy and roadmaps.

Lead the process and develop the systems to monitor performance against the defined financial KPI’s and trigger any necessary intervention.

Identify and mitigate risks to the business that have potential material financial impact.

Implement the necessary processes and systems to plan and control operating expenses.

Oversee all transaction and processing systems.

Manage payroll and benefits.

Establish accounting policies and procedures for credit and collections, purchasing, payment of bills and other financial obligations.

Act as the financial interface for the company with third parties, including investors.

Ensure that the organisation conducts itself in accordance with all relevant taxation, legal and regulatory requirements relating to financial matters.

Understand all of the company’s liabilities.

Support negotiations of all significant company contracts and commitments.

Identify new external accountants and auditors and manage relationships.

Manages: Management Information Reporting Executive (Financial Analyst),
Bookkeeper

The position reports to the Head of Operations.

• Mastery of commercial & business finance; relevant accountancy
qualifications.
• Financial and business acumen – credible at all levels internally, and
externally with investors.

Necessary Experience:

• Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant with full working knowledge of current
regulations and legislation.
• 8+ years in progressively responsible Finance, Accounting and
Controlling roles.
• Experience of working and progressing in a high-growth, entrepreneurial
SME business.
• Experience at a senior level with a consumer goods brand.
• Demonstrated an ability to drive business performance pragmatically
within the requirements of compliance regulations.
• Proven history of monitoring and controlling KPI and financial
performance across a business.
• Experience of working with external financial stakeholders.
