Admission Manager [LONDON]
Le Wagon is the world #1 coding school offering Web Development and Data Science Bootcamps in a full-time (9 weeks) and part-time (24 weeks) format. In order to realise our ambitions and support our global expansion, we are looking for a talented Admission Manager to join our team in London!
Working closely with the UK General Manager and Head of Marketing, the role will consist of managing the application pipeline, from inbound enquiries to on-boarding, to select the most talented and motivated candidates applying for our coding Bootcamps. Most importantly, you will play a key role in our UK expansion with a second campus opening in London, partnerships with leading Corporates and Universities as well as a new Data Science Bootcamp offering soon to be launched!
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Manage the admission process of our flagship coding Bootcamps in the UK, from the moment candidates apply to their on-boarding on the first day of the course
- Answer inbound course enquiries (emails, phone calls, etc.)
- Interview candidates to assess their motivations, commitments and ensure the course will help them reach their objectives
- Monitor their pre-course training and align with the tech team on recommended resources and equipment where needed
- Organise and supervise admission-related events including open evenings and webinars
- Improve the admission process based on your observations and relevant data
You would typically:
- Have experience working in recruitment, client management or similar roles, ideally in the Tech or EdTech industry
- Have a strong interest in technologies and life-long education
- Be structured, organised and have the ability to work to tight deadlines to provide practical solutions
- Be entrepreneurial, highly collaborative, and have a track record for thinking innovatively
- Be a native English speaker or have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Compensation
- Fixed salary between £32-£35k depending on relevant experience
- A great place to work in Shoreditch/Hoxton
- Annual, week-long summer retreat with the global team (previously Lisbon, Morocco, South of France)
- This is a full-time role starting in October 2019.
