So what’s the job?
As Senior Acquisition Manager you’ll test, learn and scale our Facebook and Google marketing channels, with significant budgets to drive hundreds of thousands of new customers.
You’ll intuitively understand customer problems to generate new ad ideas for direct response, as well as using data to optimise performance, lowering CPA.

You will report to the Head of Acquisition (ex-Mindful Chef/Amazon).

This Hands-On Role Includes Ownership Of:
- Lead their core acquisition channels including Facebook and PPC in-house. You’ll use data to improve their accounts, constantly test new things and continue to grow the biggest channels in the business
- Work with KatKin’s in-house creative team to come up with new ad ideas, messaging and formats, finding new and interesting ways to engage cat owners and show them why fresh food in best for their cat
- Work with the tech team on landing pages, bringing your ideas to life, helping potential customers have the best experience possible
- More broadly you’ll have the opportunity to work on conversion rate optimisation, finding things within the site that you believe could be improved. They develop new tech quickly and their in-house developers are incredible
- Research, plan and launch new acquisition channels for testing to drive higher acquisition at lower CPA. Monitor performance and scale the successful channels.
- Managing a significant acquisition budget, you’ll be an important and visible member of the team with direct access to all levels and teams within the business
- Own reporting and forecasting for your channels, working with their data analyst to create automated reports in Looker where possible
- Work with the rest of the growth team and brand team to drive customer messaging, identifying customer segments and new opportunities. You’ll need to bring your creative brain as well as your data brain!
- Work closely with the CX team to identify customer pain points and refine KatKin’s messaging and targeting accordingly
- Influence retention projects to drive higher lifetime value through high quality acquisition
Do I fit the bill? 🕵️
These are the essential requirements:
- Proven success in owning paid social (facebook paid) and PPC hands-on, in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive with a creative and curious mindset – you’re always thinking of ways to drive continuous improvement and optimisations
- Strong verbal and written English skills – you will be controlling the voice of the company
- Proficient in Excel, and very comfortable pulling, manipulating and interpreting data
- Experience using Google Analytics
- Bachelor’s degree
