We are looking for an experienced full-stack Python engineer to join our team to help scale our edge AI and tangible HCI research to the next level. You will work at the cutting edge of of the fields within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment comprising of 4 PhD researchers, 3 audio/hardware engineers, and will manage a team of web engineers.
This is a perfect opportunity for a senior engineer who can own the software stack and is keen on learning more about deep learning and HCI.

About You
Mogees Ltd is currently recruiting a senior full-stack software engineer for a full time role within our R&D team in London. You will be comfortable managing three plus engineers, and will feel comfortable architecting solutions between the Data and AI teams. As part of this role, you will join us in creating a disruptive technology in the field of tangible Human-Technology Interaction.
You will be in charge of leading our web development team and scaling our data collection pipeline to be used by audio engineers and AI researchers both within and outside the company. You should be familiar with the Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services.
Our pipeline allows us to collect different types of multi-channel audio and sensors data and process it to be used seamlessly by the rest of the team. You will need to lead and manage the other members of the web engineering team, using tools such as confluence and JIRA to manage our weekly sprints.
While your main objective is architecting, building and scaling our pipeline, we’re also a very small team so everyone is involved in conducting research, discussing designs and architectures as well as suggesting ways of improving our user interaction.
Must Have
- 5+ years of relevant experience with Python
- 2+ years of experience leading teams of software developers
- Experience with Cloud Computing (either AWS or GCE)
- Ability to architect scalable solutions
- Backend: Experience with Flask, Celery, Nginx, SQLAlchemy, Redis, Postgres
- Other tools: CI, Pytest, Docker, Git
- Agile methodology

- GitHub profile demonstrating engineering / architecture skills
- Worked within ML / Data pipeline teams before
- Frontend: experience with modern JavaScript: React.js, Node
