Although not the sexiest, funerals are damn important. Too many people get ripped off and too many people don’t get what they want. We’re here to change that and bring innovation to an area of life (or death) that has long been overlooked.
Our business is simple – we help people find, research and engage funeral directors online. Think Airbnb, but for funerals.
We launched in late 2015 and have a proven model we’re scaling rapidly. We’ve built partnerships with funeral directors covering 20% of the UK market and have helped hundreds of people when they need it most.
We’ve recently secured VC backing and have built a stellar team. It’s an exciting time for us and the business – this is your opportunity to join in.
Role Description
We need an All Rounder, someone who is able to take whatever tasks are given, own them and excel.
Your primary role will be customer service and support so we need someone who is confident, engaging and able to think on their feet.
However, given we’re still a small team we’ll ask you to work across multiple other functions too. Research, operations, business development, digital marketing, PR and everything else in between. You don’t have to be a master at any or all of these – just show a willingness to learn and sink your teeth into every aspect.
You’ll be joining a small team and get to learn from specialists in each. This is a rare role to get involved on the ground floor of a game-changing startup and be part of the excitement as we scale the business.
The role is a full-time 3-month contract to start ASAP. If, after 3 months, you’ve proved yourself to us and we’ve proved ourselves to you, a permanent position will be offered.
