Job Overview:
As a Senior Backend Developer for our AI Sales Coach platform, you will have significant autonomy and authority, leading the architectural design, development, and maintenance of the backend systems that power our AI-driven functionalities.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead Architectural Design and Development by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs to support advanced AI-driven coaching functionalities, including data processing, analysis, and model deployment. Make key decisions impacting the architectural direction to ensure scalability and robustness.
You will have influence over company policy and strategy regarding backend development. Establish objectives and responsibilities within the backend development team. Initiate and maintain influential relationships with senior management, industry leaders, and key stakeholders.
You will engage in complex problem solving activities covering technical, financial, and quality aspects of the backend infrastructure. Oversee and optimise the integration of machine learning models into the backend, ensuring real-time, efficient, and secure data handling.
Contribute to the formulation and implementation of backend policies and strategies. Drive technological and strategic decisions that align with the company’s long-term goals.
Manage and mitigate risks associated with backend systems and ensure compliance with relevant legislation including data security and privacy.
Demonstrate clear leadership and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Fostering an environment of continuous learning and adaptation to emerging technologies.
Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Extensive experience as a backend developer, with a proven track record in leading the development of scalable, distributed systems.
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go, and in building REST APIs using frameworks like Flask, Django, or Spring Boot.
Deep knowledge of database technologies and data security measures. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and containerisation technologies.
Strong business acumen with an understanding of the sales industry and CRM systems. Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Advanced knowledge in machine learning deployment and familiarity with stream processing frameworks.
