We’re looking for a hard-working and detail-oriented individual with an interest in FinTech, data analysis and operations to join our growing team.
Elm (elmfunds.com) is a modern investment company providing intelligent investment solutions for sophisticated investors. We manage four hundred million dollars for our global investor community. You’ll be joining 3 full time team members (plus one puppy). We are currently looking to double the size of our team to 6 full time members, so you will be joining us at an important stage in our company’s growth.
The position requires attention to detail, proficiency with data analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel and an interest in FinTech and the future of financial services. The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree, have an interest in programming languages such as Python or C#, and have demonstrable ability to work as part of a team. Prior work experience in financial services is preferable, but not a requirement.
Day-to-day:
From day one, you will be a key member of our investment team, supporting our CEO and Portfolio Manager with:
- Portfolio management, including reconciliations, analysis and investment research
- Trade processing and analysis
- Data management
- Investor reporting
- Identifying and implementing workflow/system improvements
While your core role will be trade operations, you will also be responsible for our business operations functions, allowing you to gain a full understanding of both investment management and the day-to-day running of a start-up. You will be responsible for:
- CRM management and analysis
- Business risk management and analytics
- Identifying and implementing workflow/system improvements
