EcoSync is a Cleantech firm working in the commercial real estate sector. Our patent-pending technology helps save energy, reduce carbon emissions, and increase comfort in commercial buildings. We are growing quickly and looking to hire a Sales Director to bring our technology to commercial buildings across the UK.

We are embarking on an ambitious journey to grow EcoSync through our innovative, sensor-free solution that saves money on installation and gives clients Dynamic Energy Management. Our products allow us to offer clients up to 40% energy reduction and significantly reduce their carbon emissions.
Our technology has been developed by Oxford scientists addressing the shortfalls of the existing systems on the market. It involves no wires, no costly installation, and is suitable even for older buildings, with or without a building management system.
We have recently successfully raised a Seed investment round and have an exciting set of non-executive directors to complement our team of world-class scientists. We are looking for a new direct sales leader who is as excited about EcoSync’s mission as we are.
Job Description
Our sales strategy is to establish long-term sales relationships with commercial landlords, property managers, and tenants. We offer three subscription-based packages that address our customers’ main heating management pain points: Control, Carbon, and Comfort Packages. Our target buildings include offices, healthcare and education facilities, and government buildings.
For the next 6-12 months, you will build a direct pipeline of new business opportunities with commercial real estate landlords, tenants, and managers and manage opportunities personally from origination to close. This will include:
- Identifying new business opportunities
- Working with EcoSync’s technical team to conduct customer demonstrations
- Structuring bidding processes and sales agreements
- Managing key accounts
- Longer term, you work with the senior leadership team to build, motivate, and manage a service-oriented sales team and help identify new strategic growth opportunities.
Candidate Profile
Our ideal team member will have an exceptional track record of selling Proptech, building technology, or real estate products to landlords, property managers, or facility managers. They will have extensive experience in the commercial real estate sector, preferably in the UK.
They will be enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, impact-driven startup and have experience:
- developing new customer relationships especially with senior stakeholders in large organisations
- structuring bid processes
- leading complex negotiations
- managing key customer accounts
In addition to working with in a high potential Cleantech startup, they will also be rewarded with a competitive compensation package including base salary, sales commission, and a flexible working location.
