THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Finance & Strategy Associate to build our financial infrastructure from the ground up. The goal: automate our financial operations and reporting so we can scale without breaking. You’ll work directly with leadership to design systems, build models, and turn messy financial data into clean, automated pipelines.
This is not a traditional finance role. You’ll be part engineer, part analyst, part strategist – someone who can look at a manual process and figure out how to automate it.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build and automate financial reporting and operations infrastructure
- Design automated pipelines for revenue tracking, commissions, and reconciliation
- Create investor-ready financial models, dashboards, and reporting
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Build integrations between financial tools (Stripe, HubSpot, accounting systems)
- Support fundraising with data rooms, financial analysis, and projections
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, ops, and product teams
- Identify bottlenecks in financial workflows and eliminate them
WHO YOU ARE
- High-energy self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong Excel/Sheets skills – bonus if you can code (Python, SQL, or similar)
- Experience with or interest in financial automation tools (Stripe, Xero, QuickBooks, APIs)
- Comfortable building systems from scratch, not just using existing ones
- Detail-oriented but can move fast in ambiguity
- 0-3 years experience (we care more about hunger and capability than tenure)
- Bonus: experience at a startup, fintech, or insurtech
