About the Role
We are seeking highly organised, resourceful, and solution-oriented talent. We are creating a passionate team of high performing peers who thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. If this sounds like you, then our role of Area Manager might be your new home. In this role, you will be responsible for a number of stores in an allocated area, providing leadership to Store Managers, Team Leaders, Rider Leads, Store Associates and Riders, in coordinating both process implementation and performance improvement.
We need Area Managers that use their initiative, curiosity and passion to continuously deliver outstanding results in challenging environments, while making sure our stores meet the 10 minute customer expectation – are you up for the challenge?
Duties & Responsibilities
- Foster a high performance culture within each store
- Maximise sales and profitability for all stores within area
- Optimise Store & Rider KPI Performance to ensure efficiency at all times
- Guarantee compliance with company’s policies and safety guidelines
- Ensure all operating processes are implemented to company requirements
- Report to senior leaders on process improvement ideas
- Control the training and development of all store staff
Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required
- Degree qualification or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in managing teams across multi-sites in either retail, warehouse or field operations
- Experience with performance metrics and process implementation with strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Exceptional organisational and leadership abilities in developing high performing teams.
- Passionate manager who knows how to strike the right balance of speaking and listening, in order to inspire others with their vision
- Reliable leader who gets things done and makes things happen – someone who likes being the end-to-end owner of processes
- Proficient in English – both written and communication skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment
