About the role
As the second member of our Quality Assurance team, you’ll be helping us improve the overall product quality while adding your own personal stamp on the function. You’ll help us respond to customer issues, test product features before we roll them out more broadly, and ensure the overall customer experience at Tenzo remains high. Good process management and structuring skills will help you manage multiple issues every week, and you’ll be central to our sprint planning. Working across multiple teams, this is an opportunity to get to know everyone at Tenzo.
Your mission
- Planning, executing and overseeing the inspection and testing of outgoing product features to confirm quality conformance and quality deliverables
- Work closely with product, engineering and customer success teams to improve overall product quality and coordinate scheduling for testing
- Analysing and investigating product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company guidelines
- Creating test plans and designing automation procedures
- Reporting discovered defects to all relevant departments for correction and monitoring through to resolution and customer satisfaction
- Suggesting improvements to company infrastructure and processes to prevent future mistakes during production
About you
- Keen to learn and very driven
- A process and detail-oriented individual, seeking to understand both the cause and effect
- Comfortable with handling data on spreadsheets
- Problem-solving aptitude and analytical mind with a business acumen
- An enthusiastic self-starter, dynamic and motivated, comfortable working both independently and in a team setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and good verbal and written communication skills
