Our SaaS solution revolutionizes the way our customers manage their daily workflow. Shiperd was built by techies and logistics professionals, experts in international shipping. It is designed from the ground up to tackle the daily complexities importers and exporters are facing, helping them to regain hours of productivity.
We are now developing our business in the UK and Europe, and are looking for energetic and passionate individuals who love to work with people like us. Must be positive thinking and maintain an enthusiastic, organized, self-reliant, and self-starting approach to the job.
The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and telephone skills, be able to multi-task, and have good computer skills. As a Sales Intern, you will be responsible for the full sales life cycle. You must be comfortable with making numerous outbound calls daily, meet with clients, attend events and close deals.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
Research, identify, qualify and establish new sales opportunities through multiple mediums (email, phone, inbound/outbound leads, and more), to solicit additional business
Proactively seek new clients (both in UK and Continental Europe) – generate leads for the purpose of converting leads to appointments, appointments to presentations, presentations to sales and sales to referrals.
Participate in the creation, presentation and sales of a complete value proposition via the telephone, internet, and customer meetings
Develop sales materials and formulate proposals
Advise customer on ROI using business drivers while presenting product sale
Meet client requests, demonstrations, preparation for client meetings, literature requests etc.
Strive to over achieve & deliver excellent customer service to all clients
Maintain a high level of attention to detail, managing all respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs, etc) within the CRM system
Ensure Database is kept up to date with all relevant account information
Be a part of our growing UK team to deliver its expansion
Strong presentation skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills through all available mediums
Great on the phone and have a natural ability to build rapport and personalise the benefits of using our solution for each and every client focusing on their needs and goals
Good prospecting and follow-up skills
Persistent and able to handle rejection without discouragement
